Overview

Caller One is a simple talkshow management system, made by Broadcast Bionics.

It allows users to answer and sort calls, connect callers to the studio, call guests, select callers for use later in the show, and has a chat/visual talkback option, to aid communication between producers and presenters.

Caller One can be used in different ways: by a presenter on their own, with a presenter and a producer working together, or even with a call screener, producer and presenter on larger shows.

This guide explains how to install the system, and adjust the ‘under the bonnet’ settings.

We strongly suggest you read this manual in conjunction with the User Manual and videos, to ensure you have a complete overview of how the system works.

Caller One comes in different versions: 3 lines, 6 lines and 12 lines (SIP), with options for one or two studios and the possibility to add Anywhere lines, depending on your licence.

This manual shows a system with six lines, but the features work in the same way whichever version you have.

Please do not directly copy settings from the screenshots in this manual to your system. You might need very different information to make your system work.

Contact your local Broadcast Bionics Dealer or Broadcast Bionics Support if you need further assistance.

We use the ‘Producer’ layout as the default, unless otherwise stated.
